View tab
Selecting the View tab allows you to change the way the image is displayed
and to add radial and azimuthal grids and labels. The color map picker and
Gamma slider towards the lower right changes the IDL color map for the
displayed image.
Grid
The Grid subsection allows the addition of radial or azimuthal
grid overlays to the image, using the checkboxes for each option.
Once selected, there are options for dotted line style and drawing fewer
grid lines. The colors of these grid lines may be selected using
the RGB sliders.
Labels
Labels showing the radial distance from the center (in Earth radii)
may be added to the image with the controls in the subsection.
There is an option to draw fewer labels, similar to the one for the
grid lines. The three sets of RGB sliders change the color for the
outer border, the background and for the number part of the labels.
Two additional sliders control the label size (in pixels) and
the azimuthal angle for the labels' position (in counterclockwise
degrees).
Settings
The Load defaults button restores the program defaults set in
the Grid and Labels subsection. The Save current as default
saves the current settings to an IDL save file called view_settings.sav.
If this file is present in the current directory when the program
starts, it will re-load the saved settings.
